Late Thanksgiving wishes

I hope you all had a wonderful holiday. We definitely did. I cooked the turkey and made green beans while my mom made the dressing. My grandmother made the sweets and other veggies to go with our Thanksgiving dinner. We drove up to north Georgia to be with grandma on Thanksgiving. She was really excited about us coming up. We had a good visit with yummy foods. I will be making turkey noodle soup today with leftovers, yum.

Jeff is gone to work, yes I know it is 4am but he had to be there at 4am. I got up with him at 3pm and made him coffee and breakfast. And now I am ready for bed since he is gone. The store is getting ready for the big sales today. I won't be going into the gift hungry crowds as I like to enjoy shopping when there isn't as many busy bodies out there. I am almost done with my shopping, which is a blessing on me this year. I have yet to get Amber's big present and something for Jeff. This weekend we are also planning on decorating our Christmas tree and finishing up our decorations around the house.

I made an Advent calendar with a kit from Making Memories and will hopefully soon take a picture and share with you all. It is pretty cool the way it turned out. I am really loving it. Any ideas on what to place inside each little box? I have thought of candies or little notes of wisdom, but really I am not sure yet. Any ideas would be helpful :) Well my eyes are getting a bit tired. So I am off back to bed. xoxo

Back to school

Yes that is right you are looking at a college girl. I started this past Monday and so far so good. In case you don't know I am getting my associates degree in Health Information Technology. I am taking four classes a semester and hopefully will be done in 15 months. Wish me luck. I am on Medical Term. 1 and Criticial Thinking and Problem Solving. I love doing the online school thing as it helps since I work full time and I am a mommy full time too. So that is what I have been busy doing lately.

We had a great Halloween. We took Amber trick or treating to a few neighborhoods and in fact one neighborhood had a dj, free popcorn, free coke, and free cotton candy. And yes all free, I was shocked but nice to see some people still enjoy doing things for the kids. Amber is almost getting too old to trick or treat so we'll see next year if she still wants to or not. I went until I was 15 so :P Amber was a Rockabilly girl this year and as soon I get a chance I will upload the pics. I took a few good ones. I just dressed up a bit and went as a GA bulldog fan, which is what I am. Jeff drew a big "G" on my face and I complained a bit because it wasn't the "Georgia Bulldawg G". There is a difference. Ha.

What I have been up to lately

Front of the Halloween tin, I embellished it.
I am back! LOL! I have been super busy with work, home and etc. But I wanted to share with everyone what *craftiness* I have been up to. I got really neat tin case (Junkitz) that has these cool accordian style paper inside for embellishing. I am going to use this for our Halloween pictures but wanted to decorate it so all I have to do is add pics and some stories/rub ons too. Pretty cool eh? Oh and so you know this is the LAST time I will change links on you, promise! I wrote down all my password and login information this time. I kept forgetting :P So enjoy the few pictures I have so far:
